I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#47333) specializing in EMDR and working with teens and their families. During the process of earning my license, I have worked in clinical, school, and community mental health settings. I am certified in EMDR, which is a specialized approach to working with clients who have undergone trauma. I joined the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists (CAMFT) in 2006 and have been an active member ever since. I have served as the Chief Financial Officer and as a Member at Large on the CAMFT State Board of Directors and as the Past President of the San Fernando Valley chapter and I am currently a member of the CAMFT Ethics Committee. Outside of the therapy office, I am an avid runner. I am a USA Track & Field Level 2 Endurance Coach and have completed more than a dozen marathons, and many more half marathons and shorter races. I employ a variety of techniques in his therapy practice to help you achieve your goals. In general, once therapy begins, I help you to build on the strengths that already exist in your life. This approach helps you to recognize how you can overcome obstacles in your life and solve problems in the future.
