Seeking support for your mental health is both vulnerable and courageous at the same time. As a seasoned, experienced therapist I support clients in this process by creating a connection in which they experience being seen, heard, and understood. Always aware of how language, culture, family, and our personal history shapes who we are, we identify your strengths in order to guide you to your goals. Working together as client and therapist we will explore how your present distress may be a product of past experiences- both difficult and joyful. We will explore how things that once worked to help you adapt to stress, be successful, or survive life, may no longer be adaptive. We will learn how to change your response to stress, difficult relationships, and other concerns so that you can live a life of possibility and hope. I help individuals feel connected and valued so that they become curious to understand themselves. I guide them through a process of feeling and believing in themselves to make small changes which can eventually lead to significant shifts in how they live their lives and become more of who they want to be. I invite you to begin this journey.
