Hello there! I am a Master’s candidate in the Drama Therapy program at New York University. I have a background in comparative literature, psychology, as well as film and theatre. As an international student for almost ten years originally from Beijing, China, I make it my mission in my work to witness, cherish, and uplift voices that have been suppressed. I have experience working with adolescents as well as older adults, providing support related to their cultural and religious identities. I am committed to spreading my warmth, compassion, and playfulness in my work as a clinician. I believe that the therapeutic space embraces spontaneity and possibilities, and is a place where all parts of you are invited to tell your stories. In my approach, I integrate dramatic play, embodiment, art-making, and writing to facilitate self-expression and exploration. I also offers services in Mandarin Chinese. My supervisor is Mark Beauregard at Beauregard Creative Arts Therapy, PLLC.
