I've been practicing therapy since 2014. Problems folks struggle with are as varied and individual as folks themselves. To me, relational shame is most often the common besetting feeling folks struggle with. Shame is a relational experience and for that reason, I believe shame is healed in a relationship. The therapeutic relationship can be a place where shame can find some exposure to light and air where it can be extracted and deep healing can occur. When this happens, it is my experience that relationships also transform. More joy and life are often the fruits of this kind of work. Working together towards clients’ goals, I have been able to guide clients towards more empowering ways to overcome stuck points in their lives. As clients grow in their ability to respond to barriers and obstacles in their lives, they often simultaneously come to enjoy more life, joy and freedom. Specialities include; institutional betrayal and trauma. Engaging in therapy is like practicing any skill, it’s costly work, indeed some of the hardest work you may ever do, but the rewards are worth it, you‘re worth it! If you are ready for the adventure of engaging your story more deeply, I’d love to join you.
