Introduction

My name is Dan. I use he/him pronouns. I am a licensed psychologist in general practice at Sojourn Psychotherapeutics, LLC in the East End of Pittsburgh. I work with individuals, couples, and families. In addition to general practice, I also specialize in LGBTQIA+ mental health and climate-aware psychotherapy. Here are some examples of therapeutic goals my clients commonly bring to session: identifying and managing mental health symptoms, finding greater motivation and focus in daily life, understanding attachment style, identity exploration, deprogramming internalized stigma, managing family relationships, and healing from trauma. I find it especially meaningful to provide therapy for other healers and practitioners. If you work in the caring professions and need therapy to heal and abide, I would like to work with you. I love my job and consider it a privilege to serve my community. If you feel like any part of this page speaks to you, I welcome you to request a free consultation using the "Request Appointment" button. If you have any questions, click the "Contact" button above and leave me a message. I typically respond within 2 business days. Warmly, Dan [Please note: I am running a waitlist starting 9/01 and do not have a definite timeline for when I will have availability for new clients. - Warmly, Dan | 8/29/24]
