I began studying neurorehabilitation in 1994 at Health Hill Hospital for Children. Over the subsequent years I trained at a variety of institutions including the Cleveland Clinic Neurologic Institute Center for Pain, Bellefaire JCB, Northshore Psychology Associates, Safe Harbor Behavioral Health, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Erie, PA and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Hamot. Throughout my training my interests grew and broadened to encompass the profound impact of mental health across a wide spectrum of conditions including chronic pain and illness, severe mental illness, TBI, stroke, dementia, movement disorders as well as general wellness. The impact of anxiety or depression on everyday functioning can be remarkable. It is my goal to offer comprehensive psychotherapy as well as neuropsychological assessment and intervention strategies for families, caregivers and fellow professionals oriented towards maximizing our patients' and loved ones' quality of life. My scope of practice includes patients aged 5 and up.
