Introduction

I am passionate about bringing healing, hope, and wholeness in the wake of the most difficult situations life throws at us. Many of my clients come to therapy seeking to decrease anxiety or depression, heal from significant losses and hurts, solve difficult problems, or just feel better about themselves. I have a broad range of experience with adults with a wide variety of concerns including: overcoming trauma/abuse, medical concerns, grief and loss, spiritual conflicts, life transitions, HIV/AIDS, anxiety, depression, and stress management. I actively seek to build an atmosphere of acceptance and understanding that allows my clients to feel comfortable and safe. Utilizing a person-centered approach, I work collaboratively with each client to identify and reach their personal therapy goals. My focus is finding the most effective combination of therapeutic approaches to help my clients be successful in creating their fullest possible life. I primarily use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. When appropriate, I incorporate my experience in behavioral health with over a decade of experience as a pastor.
