Daniel is a dual-service combat veteran, serving four years in the Marines Corps followed by nearly six years in the Army. He has been married to his wife, Jesi, since 2003 and they have two children. Daniel served three combat tours to Iraq between 2003-2008. He became a Green Beret and also completed Combat Diver School. They have lived in Colorado Springs since he was stationed at Fort Carson with 10th Special Forces Group in 2011. Daniel's military career ended abruptly following an alcohol related incident in Africa in 2012, he has been sober from alcohol ever since. He spent several years healing through going to counseling himself, while also attending school. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling and Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is passionately pursuing clients who are ready to make the necessary changes to initiate a resurgence in their own lives and relationships. He offers counseling to both civilian and military individuals and couples. Daniel also works with the 4th Judicial Court as a provider for Veteran Trauma Court and provides services for El Paso County Probation.
