Introduction

______________________________________________________________________________________________ Hello and welcome! This page provides information about my practice, background, and therapeutic approach. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and an approved Clinical Supervisor in Washington State. I hold a BA in Psychology and a Master of Social Work from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, along with post-graduate training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have worked in the behavioral and mental health field for 15 years, initially in fast-paced, short-term, and crisis intervention roles. After graduate school, I was drawn to the more intentional and reflective space that individual outpatient practice offers. Since opening my private practice in 2022, I have focused on supporting adults navigating challenges related to interpersonal relationships and communication, self-esteem and self-worth, life transitions, and trauma. In treatment, I use a compassionately direct, engaging, and collaborative approach to build trust and create an environment of safety. This foundation allows us to openly identify the issues that are keeping you stuck and develop the skills necessary for meaningful change. Sessions include a combination of talk therapy, skill-building interventions, and between-session practice. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my practice. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION *Schedule a New Client Consultation* Click on "Contact," (top page).
