Introduction

I have a strong passion and a lot of experience working with children, adolescents and their families. I’m originally from New York State but have also lived in Illinois and Kansas. One of my passions is providing treatments that are based on scientific research showing that it’s effective in treating the problem. When working with younger children and adolescents, I believe it’s important to involve parents in treatment so that we can work as a team to meet goals while also allowing adolescents to take the lead in their treatment. I have an interest in working with individuals with emotional dysregulation, anxiety, OCD, depression and other behavioral difficulties. I have training and experience providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Family Based Treatment (FBT)for eating disorders, and Behavioral Parent Training. I believe in including parents in treatment for the most effective results and following evidence-based treatment approaches. In addition to adolescents and families, I have experience working with young adults. I currently work with individuals ages 9-25 years old. If you're interested in learning more about my methods or have questions about what it would look like to work with me, please reach out to schedule a free consultation. Outside of work I enjoy reading (sci-fi and fantasy), video games, hiking with my dogs and skiing.
