My primary approach to treatment is cognitive- this simply means that I believe your thoughts matter. I believe that what you tell yourself has significant impact on how you feel and ultimately how you behave. Our work together will aim to modify entrenched and unhelpful thoughts that interfere with you living the life you want. Cognitive therapy is active, focused on skill development, and goal attainment. Our relationship is fundamental, as we both play a role in any successful therapeutic outcome. My priority is to create a safe, supportive, and accepting environment for us to work together.
