Our suffering is not caused by some fundamental flaw in ourselves or even by the difficult situations that arise for us. We struggle because we have not learned how to allow these situations to be as they are and to accept “what is.” This creates conflict, causing us to feel tension and stress in our bodies and minds. These chronic holding patterns disconnect us from our emotions, our bodies and ultimately ourselves. I have worked in the mental health field since 1999 working in a range of different settings, from acute psychiatric hospitals, eating disorder facilities, outpatient drug and alcohol settings, residential schools for children and a liberal arts college. My practice is a holistic and integrative approach to healing body, mind and spirit. We will work together to bridge the gap between what your mind is thinking and what your body is feeling. Through somatic inquiry we will uncover what you most want and help you become free.
