Introduction

Hi, I'm Danielle! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) offering therapy to individuals aged 16+ across North Carolina. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating eating disorders, body image distress, life transitions, anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder (BPD), and trauma, with a particular focus on childhood trauma and sexual assault. I have a particular passion for working with college and graduate students and individuals feeling overwhelmed by financial stress or the emotional toll of today's social and political climate. My practice is rooted in passion, authenticity, and a deep respect for lived experience. I welcome clients of all races, genders, sexualities, body sizes, and backgrounds. In sessions, I blend evidence-based approached like ACT, CBT, DBT, and MI with warmth, humor, and a practical approach. As a recovering perfectionist, Type A human, first-generation American, and first-generation college graduate, I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help or quiet that constant inner critic. Healing doesn't require perfection, it only requires courage to begin.
