Hello! My name is Dara Fedrow and I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I enjoy working with a wide range of individuals dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, transitional issues, and relationship conflicts. I take a non-judgmental and compassionate approach to the therapeutic relationship. I enjoy getting to know people as individuals and catering therapy to their unique needs and goals. Using Acceptance and Commitment therapy, I will help you reconnect to your authentic self in order to live an empowered life moving in the direction of your goals. Mindfulness strategies and self-compassion are tools I like to utilize to help deepen your mind, body, and spirit connection. I additionally utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My goal in sessions is to create a safe and supportive container for you to explore difficult places within and external generational patterns that may dictate your life and relationships. Together, we can work on embracing a more embodied way of living in the present moment while connecting meaningfully with others.
