Introduction
Counseling is not one-size-fits-all. My approach is to allow the client to tell their story in an open, judgement-free environment creating a safe and trusting connection with treatment designed according to what makes sense to you. Whether you need assistance in processing your experiences, have a specific problem/habit, are seeking general growth, or simply need support and a trusting connection. I offer short and long-term treatment designed to work with you and your unique situation and experiences. My primary therapeutic methods are cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness. I adjust my approach to counseling according to your personal needs and goals. I believe counseling is most effective when the client and counselor are compatible, treatment makes sense to the client, and the goals of counseling are established. My ideal clients are those seeking treatment in a safe, judgment-free environment, where they can share openly and will be challenged and engaged in the counseling experience.
