My aim as a therapist is to give you a space so you can break the patterns that are holding you back. I believe that people often operate from the basis of their story: what has happened in their lives and what they know and how they feel. I will help you understand your collection of experiences of thoughts and feelings in order to assist you in reaching goals, and essentially, to get where you want to go. I will do my best to understand you, and I am willing to laugh or cry with you - especially laugh. If you are seeking healing and longing, I am here to help. I'm not your typical therapist, I'm going laugh with you, make bad puns, and give you homework - but through it all I will keep you accountable and adapt our sessions to meet your needs and keep it as fun as possible. My love language is quality time and my main values in life are connected relationships and community. That translates into how I believe the most critical step in a therapeutic relationship is establishing a good rapport - that way you can feel comfortable to get out the things you have been holding you back.
