I am currently a licensed masters level psychologist and I’ve spent most of my career working with a wide range of individuals. I found that my niche does not fall so much on the age of the individual, but more on the presenting problem. I found a love for working with interpersonal problems early on and have discovered that the relationships carried throughout life can make a significant impact on mental health. Although my interests do not end there! I enjoy working with achievement, communication and behavioral issues, along with mood and personality disorders. My ultimate goal is to create a safe and judgement free zone that allows clients to feel motivated to make a positive change. During my education, I focused on relationships and interactions between romantic partners; more specifically the impact of emotionally focused therapy and it's impact on preventive measures in couples. Since then, I use individualized methods for each client and try to use an approach that best fits the circumstances such as cognitive-behaivoral therapy, acceptance & commitment therapy, interpersonal therapy, and so on. I have spent a great deal of my career providing assessments and feedback to individuals who seek out services for: disability services, eligibility for programs, academic accommodations, diagnosis(es), etc. I find that psychological assessments can be truly impactful for families and individuals who are seeking out social care services or even just seeking an answer to presenting symptoms. I grew up in a rural Kansas town and have been in the Ellis County area for roughly seven years now. I look forward to planting some roots and building my foundation from the ground up.
