Ever find your need to be logical getting in the way of being emotionally present? Ever find yourself stuck on the outside, seeing your experience from afar? Ever find yourself lost in the forest, knowing the right path for you is just the other side of the darkness? You do not have to go through any of this alone. Using a person-centered, non-judgmental and humanistic approach, my job is to assist you in ascertaining your priorities, goals, and the best way to help you make those dreams into reality. Taking a collaborative, informal and supportive approach, my goal is to help clients learn and develop the skills they need to manage their lives in ways that work best for them. Whatever the situation, be it relationship discord, difficulties with self-assertion and boundary management, trouble with feeling unable to manage ones emotional responses, or anything else that leaves you feeling like you are not the You who you want to be, we can work to rediscover the map, shine a light on where to redirect, and get you back on the right path for you. I am a recent Masters Level graduate of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Adams State University, with a professional background in the community mental health and coordinated care realms. As a cisgender white male, I recognize the cultural and systemic structures which shape and define our roles and identities. I see my work as helping to assist my clients in expressing their beliefs, values and identities for no one but themselves. I love to work with, and have personal and professional experience, those with relationship challenges including those that concern separation/divorce, co-parenting, non-monogamous and non-traditional relationship structures, kink, 2SLGBTQIA+ and immigrant identities, and all manner of life transitions.
