I help teens and young adults going through a hard time feel understood and more confident in themselves. Does your anxiety or depression make things feel harder than it should? You’re tired of beating yourself up. Together, you and I can figure it out. Our therapy gives us a calm, safe space to focus on you and your story. We get the chance to discover what is truly awesome about you. Working together, you can feel more calm, confident, connected, and joyful. As a former high school teacher, coach, and social worker, I usually click well with kids and teens. And I work with parents every step of the way. I know everyone has their own learning style, energy level and interests. Our sessions can be as unique as you are! I am relaxed, active, and kinda goofy. Our work is interactive, and I will check in with you frequently to make sure I'm "getting it". I know reaching out for help can be overwhelming. Even just looking for a therapist is a big step.
