Introduction

Greetings, I'm David (he/him/his) - a career-switching, relationship and family therapist. Previously I was mostly occupied by various real estate business interests. Outside of work, I'm a passionate partner, dad, skier, yogi, and consumer of unique foods. Relationship Counseling I don't subscribe to our society dictating the look, feel, or shape of our relationships whether they be romantic or not. My therapy practice caters to all folx, especially those in alternative, non-monogamous, polyamorous, or LGBTQIA+ relationships with a curious, co-exploring, non-judgmental lens. I find it particularly rewarding to work with multicultural couples and those from marginalized backgrounds. Family Therapy As a systemic therapist, I believe that people are not problems, but there are problematic behaviors that visit us, our relationships, families, and communities. Using art, play, music, and storytelling I strive to create a growth-oriented space for families and community to listen-to-understand, build tender connection, and re-author family lores. Individual Counseling I'm interested in facilitating your connection with the stories you've been told, those you tell yourself, and those you tell others. When we externalize the "problems" that visit us, we access more agency, autonomy, and power over these narratives and shift, to various degrees, from "victims" of our circumstance to "authors" of our experience. I bring an openness, curiosity, and growth mindset and welcome all travelers with tender curiosity. Consider scheduling a free consultation now to see if we're a good fit for this collaborative and worthwhile work.
