Introduction

Trauma occurs when the mind-body connection is overwhelmed by experiences that happened too fast, too much, and too soon or something we need that happened too infrequently, too little, or too late. Healing trauma requires the mindful guidance of a trauma-informed therapist through top-down and bottom-up integration. My trauma treatment is rooted in the affect modality of treatment, such as EMDR and EFT, experiential modality of treatment, such as play therapy and IFS, and somatic treatment, rooted in polyvagal and attachment theories.
