Introduction

I am originally from New York City and received my MSW from Columbia University in 2014. I have worked in a variety of settings serving people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. Over the past decade, I have helped clients to overcome crisis, rebuild their lives, and raise healthy families. I began my career in foster care and later as a public school social worker. I then expanded my focus to addiction recovery and worked at a methadone program for parents. I later worked in outpatient settings and led groups for adults coping with severe mental illness. I bring these collective experiences and my own enthusiasm for self-growth into the therapy room. I specialize in helping people to manage anxious thoughts and understand its roots. Stress impacts our work, school, and social lives, but it may also manifest into physical health symptoms. I find that the body restores itself once deep fears, sadness, and anger are released. My approach is warm and compassionate. I recognize the courage it takes to look within and make changes. I focus on building trust and safety. I also encourage using creativity, intuition, and spirituality in our work.
