Introduction

In my practice, I focus on helping youth (10yrs old+), adults, and families challenged by emotional regulation difficulties, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and trauma symptoms. Similarly, I support folx cope with the stress of being the first in their families to attend college, work in a professional setting, or deal with conflicting cultural/family expectations. I help adults heal from childhood wounds or trauma, deal with major break ups, and those on the verge of burnout. I am also passionate about helping parents manage the challenges of parenting and addressing their child's emotional needs.
My approach is warm, transparent, and collaborative with a spirit of humor to support healing. My aim is to build a trusting relationship, from which we can jointly address the barriers keeping you from being able to feel like your true self. I take into consideration the many identities you embody and how society and culture impact mental health. Throughout the process, you will learn to lean into your emotions, analyze your thought patterns, and work on understanding why you behave in certain ways that may not be helpful. Together, we can develop healthier habits to move you towards a more enriching and fulfilling life. My goal is to help you feel confident to fully express your authentic self! Everyone deserves to be acknowledged, to find their voice, and to live an enriching and fulfilling life. Together, we can transform distress to confidence and contentment. An additional service that I provide is immigration evaluations for U-Visa and VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) cases. Please contact me for more details. ¡Le puedo apoyar! ¡Trabajemos juntos a enfrentar los desafíos y avanzar hacia una vida más enriquecedora y plena!
