Everyone experiences challenges and stress in their daily life. Having a Therapist is as important as having a dentist and primary care physician since the work we do can better equip individuals, couples, and families with meeting daily challenges as well as acute, and chronic problems. My work with couples has the focus of providing “best practice knowledge” for building strong relationships and intimacy. With families I focus on skill development for conflict resolution and creating a sense of belonging. The work I do with individuals is client centered based on goals and needs that can improve their day-to-day life. We depend on family & friends and look to them for love and support but often it is not enough to get us through bouts of depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, relationship difficulties, work disappointments, and many of life's ordinary yet difficult transitions. I understand what makes a day hard and a night long and can offer a sense of hope.
