Deborah is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Texas and Florida with over 18 years of clinical experience in social services and family therapy. She is a certified Life Coach and enjoys sharing her knowledge on how to set and achieve goals pertaining to personal interests, business, education, and general life circumstances. Deborah graduated from Carlos Albizu University in 2006 earning a degree in Psychology and began her career as a case manager in social services. During her time as a case manager, she noticed that many people suffered with mental health challenges and needed more help than what local community resources were providing. Deborah found that many psychological and emotional issues develop from early trauma and unhealthy behavioral patterns learned from a person’s family of origin. Following this, she went on to pursue graduate studies at Nova Southeastern University earning a master’s degree in Family Therapy with a concentration in family dynamics and psychotherapy. Deborah’s advanced education has equipped her to help individuals break negative traits and teach them how to create quality relationships with their peers. Deborah has developed a passion in helping many people improve their quality of life by stopping destructive behavioral patterns and create new healthy habits that establish genuine connections. Deborah believes that people are good at the core of their identity and have a sensible belief system that can navigate how they show up in society. Deborah believes that relationships are only as complicated as people make them and that having a healthy bond with others can bring out the best in you. Deborah’s goal is to help others reach their full capability. Her plan is to use the tools necessary to implement better treatment with yourself as well as the people around you.
