Denise Garver is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor who specializes in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. She graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. In 2015, Denise earned her Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Waynesburg University. Ms. Garver completed two specialized training courses in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Center in Pittsburgh, PA. She is trained in multiple therapeutic modalities including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Ms. Garver has over 10 years of experience working with adolescents and adults within the mental health and criminal justice communities. Ms. Garver focuses on trauma-informed care. She treats a wide range of mental health issues including, but not limited to, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Conduct Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. Ms. Garver currently resides in Western Pennsylvania.
