Deniz works with adults, children and families. Her experience includes working with adults and children in acute states of mental health, as well as those living with the impact of complex and long term trauma. In her work with patients, she invites body based interventions to support the work of verbal therapy. Ideally clients who work with Deniz are open to exploring different kinds of work, including talking, movement, mind/body connectivity, biodynamic craniosacral work and polyvagel based approach including Safe and Sound Protocol. Deniz's therapeutic approach is oriented to using a body based approach to listening, exploring, understanding and sharing. She is committed to working with each individual in a unique way that suits their comfort level. Her approach integrates cognitive and expressive interventions to create awareness of interconnectivity of thought, emotions and behavior. Finding a Therapist who feels like a good "fit" is absolutely crucial to the success of the therapeutic work. I welcome inquires and free consultations to determine if my treatment approach and the way that I hold space in the therapeutic relationship feels like something you will feel safe enough to commit to.
