Hello! My name is Destinee Henderson (she/her), a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. I am currently taking clients. I graduated with my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Midwestern State University, and I am licensed to practice in the state of Texas under the supervision of Dr. Lynda Johnson, Ph.D., LPC-S. With a background in Community Health and Victim Advocacy, I am trauma-informed in assisting clients get to the other side of their healing journey. I specialize in anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, adolescents, and veterans. Life can be incredibly overwhelming, and sometimes it can feel like a constant struggle. My passion is helping you to achieve that, even if it means rediscovering who you truly are. I am here to support you in finding your purpose and overcoming life’s struggles with managing these challenges together. My goal is to water what is already there. For you to be the narrator of your story, but to become a better version of yourself in the process. Regardless of your past, I want to be that facilitator to make sure your past does not affect your future but is used as a blueprint to help navigate a healthy life and journey.
