Introduction

One of the hardest steps of the therapeutic process is what you’re going through now. Searching to find the counselor that aligns with your needs can feel daunting. I commend you for taking the first steps. My long experience with finding a therapist with shared identities and values was the catalyst to me entering the counseling profession. I value creating a space where transformation can occur through exchanges of knowledge from your life experience and my education. The theories I intend to integrate into the space are Psychodynamic, Adlerian, and Mindfulness. I remain open to other theories according to what best meets your needs. I have clinical interest in anxiety, depression, grief, death/dying, and utilizing music for art therapy. I am being dually trained in Sport and Human Performance to do mental performance consulting for anyone looking to improve their skills (athletes, artistic performers, childbirth, etc). With a background in community organizing and social justice advocacy I aim to intentionally provide a therapeutic brave space for Black lesbians and non-binary Black people. Additionally, I am excited to provide space to all clients ready to begin their journey! A space where one can authentically show up to sessions without fear of judgements. Let’s share knowledge and work together to ignite your rebirth.
