Hello there! I am a Midwesterner who moved to the PNW for graduate school and found that it felt like home. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology with a minor in Spanish from Northern Illinois University and a Masters Degree with a specialization in Eating Disorders from Lewis and Clark in Portland, Oregon. I started my career in a high school as a therapist. Since then, I have worked in an outpatient setting and have extensive experience working with juveniles involved in the justice system, DHS involved families and issues ranging from anxiety to complex trauma. Additionally, I have worked in an Eating Disorder intensive outpatient/day treatment setting for adolescents and adults. I am an adjunct faculty at Lewis and Clark teaching in their Eating Disorder Certificate program. Through my work with children and adolescents and their parents, I have found that I am passionate about working with couples as well. Couples, whether together, separated or divorced have found relief from concerns including marriage/partner issues, conflict resolution and parenting. I am also happy to work with individuals and have a particular interest in early adulthood. When I'm in the office, Betty my therapy dog joins me. She loves spending time with clients and adds to a humorous and calming environment. Whatever your reason for seeking counseling, I would love to get to know you and help you reach the goals that would bring you to feel at home in your life, your family, with your partner or with yourself. I offer free 15 minute consultation call to see if we'd be a good fit. I am bilingual and offer services in both English and Spanish.
