Introduction

"One of the most valuable skills in life is being able to see another person's perspective.” (James Clear)." However, I believe this starts with self-awareness and knowing who you are. I started my training journey at Northern Illinois University (NIU) as a Licensed Professional Counselor, and Deafness Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). In 2015, I continued my training at Family Therapy Training Institute (FTTI) to become a Family Therapist which is my passion. I use evidence-based modalities and treatment methods that provide clients with clarity, insight, encouragement, and new ideas that help them to do something different. My core values have always guided my life experiences, especially when working with clients and within various communities. I value honesty, respect, self-love, spirituality/faith-based lifestyle, exercise, time management, and boldness. At Journey Within Christian Counseling (JWCC), we merge a faith-based approach to therapy to address everyday life obstacles. If you are seeking services that will guide processes; if you are ready to show up for you and others, and if you are ready to do the work to create change, then click the contact link to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.
