Don helps individual adults and couples move away from the unhelpful attitudes and behaviors of the past and into the fresh possibilities of the present. He grew up in Salisbury, NC, and graduated from Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC, with a Bachelor of Arts. He has lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1982. He received his master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, where he taught as an adjunct faculty member. He has also taught as an Associate Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. He now practices Telehealth Psychotherapy for Northern and Southern California and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. He and his wife are the authors of books on relationships and parenting, with over one million in print. Don has been married for over 30 years and has children and grandchildren. In whatever situation, Don's counseling helps clients compassionately discern what is true for them and what needs attention next in their lives.
