Introduction

I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas. I received a doctorate in clinical psychology from Fielding Graduate University and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy with an art therapy concentration from the University of Notre Dame de Namur. I completed my bachelor’s degree in art history at the University of Texas in Austin. In my free time, I enjoy exploring art museums, watercolor painting, swimming, and hiking in the Texas Hill Country. I have several years of experience providing psychological services with training in various traditional and creative therapeutic techniques. My practice focus is helping clients with depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and trauma. I work with clients to find strategies to better manage their uncomfortable feelings and negative thoughts and change unwanted behaviors. If you are struggling with intense emotions, painful experiences, or unhealthy habits, I can help. We can collaborate to find techniques specific to your unique needs. My role will be to assist you on your mental health journey to create the life you want. You can click the request an appointment button to start your mental health journey. If no appointments are available, you can ask to be placed on my waiting list. The best way to reach me is to use the contact link on this page or to email me at barbara@drcorff.com.
