Introduction

Hello and thank you for your interest in Red Leaf Psychology, Inc (https://redleafpsychology.com)! I am a Clinical Child Psychologist and have been working in the mental health field since 2010. My passion is working with families to improve relationships and support healthy development for children. I co-developed a 7-session parent-child therapy called PC-CARE (https://pcit.ucdavis.edu/pc-care/) that supports positive parent-child relationships, helps children learn to calm big emotions, and reduces challenging behavior by teaching parenting strategies. I believe that therapy does not always have to be long to be effective and that the parent-child relationship is central to mental and emotional wellness in young children. In addition to PC-CARE, I offer more intensive parenting interventions, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) for children who have experienced traumatic events, CBT for Pain for children and young adults who are managing chronic pain, infant mental health services, co-parenting support, and therapy for children and young adults who are managing anxiety and/or depression. Additionally, I offer Emotional Wellness subscription plans for families who are interested in less intensive mental health support and consultation.
