Dr. Cendrine Robinson is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in treating adolescents and adults with anxiety disorders and psychosocial challenges due to chronic health challenges. Dr. Robinson holds a Masters and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Robinson also completed a Masters of Public from the Harvard University School of Public Health. Dr. Robinson developed expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy during her training at USUHS. Dr. Robinson's clinical training included treating adolescents and adult in hospital settings. Dr. Robinson trained at the D.C. Superior Court Child and Family Guidance Clinic where she provided therapy and provided psychological testing to adolescents. Dr. Robinson also completed training at the Washington D.C. Veteran Affairs hospital where she developed expertise in treating individuals dually diagnosed with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder and Substance Use Disorders. During her clinical psychology internship at the Edward Hines Jr. Veteran Affairs Hospital, Dr. Robinson developed expertise in addressing health psychological concerns including diabetes management and chronic pain. Dr. Robinson completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Robinson conducted research on using mobile technology to promote behavior change and treat addiction. Dr. Robinson also has expertise in treating anxiety and trauma related to medical challenges including chronic health challenges including cancer diagnoses. She uses evidence-based treatments to help clients live fully while managing their disease.
