Hey there! Thanks for visiting my page! I'm Christina Joanitis. I'm a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the South Bay, CA. I earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology and a Master's in Theology from Fuller Seminary School of Psychology in 2014. For the past 7 years, I have worked in a private practice setting providing individual, group, and couples therapy, psychological testing, and case management. I also serve at my local church providing pre-marital counseling, pastoral care, and small group discipleship classes. I am passionate about seeing individuals find healing and wholeness. By providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals to emote, process past hurts and traumas, and identify unhealthy behavioral patterns, I work with my clients to normalize emotions, challenge cognitive distortions, and develop a healthier view of self. Whether you are coming into therapy for the first time and need some help feeling comfortable, or whether you are looking for your 20th therapist and just want a safe landing place, I am here to support you. I work hard to offer an unbiased and nonjudgemental space at whatever stage of your faith journey you land on (or not at all!). I work with many individuals from the LGBTQIA population and from a wide range of cultural and religious backgrounds. My job is not to tell you what to believe but to support you on your journey of becoming the best version of you, you can be. I look forward to meeting you! Populations Serviced: children (7+), adolescents, adults, couples Services Provided: I am currently only offering tele-therapy services through my private practice. This includes individual and couples counseling. My goal is to add in person appointments and psychological testing starting in 2025. Therapy Approaches: Psychodynamic, CBT, Client-Centered, Integrative, Mindfulness, Faith-Based
