Dr. Gonzales has experience with conducting, evaluating, and creating mental health services to individuals with severe Eating Disorders, Personality Disorders, and Substance Use. In addition to her extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy she has also presented clinical research at the International Conference on Eating Disorders (ICED), Society of Personality Assessment, BEDA/NEDA Conferences, and maintains the National Register of Health Service Psychologists credential. In addition to her faculty position, Dr. Gonzales currently maintains a small private practice in Southern California that offers evidenced-based treatment for young adults, males struggling with Eating Disorders, Elite and Professional Athletes, and individuals struggling with addiction.
