Dr. Deborah Vick, PSY.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Virginia. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Vick is certified in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a therapeutic approach that encourages the alignment of one's values and behaviors. Dr. Vick provides individual, couples and group psychotherapy services to adults. For more than a decade she served Veterans at the Hamton VA Medical Center. In addition, she worked for several years with older adults at Colonial Behavioral Health in Williamsburg, VA. Dr. Vick's specialty is serving clients who strive to live with intention, purpose and meaning. With compassion and respect, she engages each client in the collaborative process of pursuing their individualized therapy goals. Dr. Vick specializes in treating individuals struggling with Grief and Loss, Major Life Transitions and Stressors, Relationship Issues, Mood Disorders, and Anxiety Disorders. In addition to ACT, Dr. Vick employs cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic psychotherapy to support each client's unique treatment needs.
