Introduction

I invite you to pause and ask yourself: 1. Do you feel like you have to be strong… all… the… time? 2. Is that inner voice constantly on your last nerve with its mean and judgmental tone? 3. Do you find yourself screaming "yassss" at the TV because an actress's struggles feel like your own, yet you struggle to put your feelings into words? 4. Are you multi-gifted and find yourself shrinking in certain spaces? If you answered 'yes' to any of these, you're in the right place for support. To get started, please complete the new client pre-screen form at belovedwellnesscenter.com/prescreen. As a therapist, I support Black women, teen girls and active allies who often put themselves last, guiding them to navigate life without sacrificing their identity. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, trauma (racism, colorism, featurism, texturism), and life adjustment stressors. I’m trained in evidence-based treatments, including EMDR. With personal experiences, advanced degrees, certifications and my license, I’m equipped to help you tackle a range of mental health challenges. I'm a doctor of psychology and a licensed clinical social worker in Wisconsin (License Number: 7981-123).
