I am committed to helping people find the strength inside themselves to triumph in relationships, overall functioning and living a balanced life. I have worked with young children, adolescents, adults, family and other specialized groups. Clients have presented with issues such as anxiety, depression, communication problems, marital concerns, parenting, ADHD, eating disorders, grief/loss, self-injury and social skills development. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship helping drive individuals and families to reach their full potential and live a life void of unresolved issues. I am passionate about helping others and I do so with openness, honesty and compassion. I understand that change is difficult and through positive support and consistent encouragement I assist clients as they take the courageous steps toward impactful change. Constantly striving for balance in my own life, I enjoy spending time with my family, outings with friends and travel. I believe in the importance of relaxation and keeping constant those things that brings joy and fulfillment. I encourage the same with my clients and will help with the identification process, if necessary. While therapy is traditionally offered in an office setting, I am happy to offer “Virtual Therapy”, which helps to facilitate comfort and ease in the therapy process.
