Dr. M. Elizabeth Bowman, earned her doctorate in Social Work at the Catholic University of America, in Washington, D.C. She is also currently a professor in the Master of Social Work Program within the Social Work Department at Gallaudet University and holds clinical licensure in Florida, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC. Therapists at our practice believe in matching a clinical approach with the needs of the individual client, couple, or family but draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, expressive therapies (i.e. art, yoga), etc.
