Dr. Erin Avirett, Ph.D.

Licensed Psychologist Avirett Psychological
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities

Introduction

I am a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology and have had the joy of working in the Amarillo area for over a decade. I specialize in diagnostic psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children, teens, and young adults. This means that I complete comprehensive evaluations to rule in or out diagnoses like ADHD, autism, or learning disabilities/dyslexia (among others). Evaluations also help the client, their parents, and their school learn more about their strengths, weaknesses, and how they best learn. I also specialize in parenting training, to help parents learn how to be balanced caregivers and how to help their children through tricky behaviors or stages.
