Dr. Matthew Feldner has been licensed as a clinical psychologist in Arkansas since 2007 and he was granted authority to practice interjurisdictional telepsychology in 2023. He initially spent 14 years as a tenured professor in the Department of Psychological Science at the University of Arkansas, where he studied anxiety and stress, supervised clinical care, and taught the ethics, practice, and research of clinical psychology. Recently, he directed a team conducting clinical trials testing the safety and health benefits of cannabinoids. He now focuses full-time on his private practice, which offers in-person and telepsychology outpatient psychotherapy to adults. Telepsychology services are available to adults located in PSYPACT participating states, which can be found here: psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap. At the ACSA, Dr. Feldner offers treatment that is strongly supported by research evidence. His approach includes carefully assessing challenges that people are facing, and using a variety of cognitive and behavioral techniques that best match those specific challenges. Selecting the best of these techniques that fit well with individual client needs, he works with people to help them more effectively live a valued life.
