Introduction

Dr. Geneva (she/they) is a Latinx licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years experience. I identify as a woman of color and mujerista. I provide relational and depth-oriented (psychodynamic) individual and couples/polycule therapy to adults. I also provide clinical consultations, supervision, and therapy for other mental health professionals. I specialize in working with BIPOC (Black/Indigenous/People of Color), LGBTQIA+ and gender nonconforming clients. My work is sex positive and poly- and kink friendly. Areas of focus for treatment vary but often center around anxiety, traumatic experiences, body positivity, identity-related concerns and spirituality (including difficulties with belief systems). If you are interested in learning more, please schedule a free 15-minute consultation to determine if we are a good fit to work together. I am COVID conscious and provide all services via HIPAA-compliant teletherapy software. I am licensed as a clinical psychologist in California, Washington and Virginia and possess an E. Passport and Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (PSYPACT), which means I am able to provide teletherapy to people who are in any of the following states at the time of service: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia (Washington, DC), Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
