To help you determine if you'd like to work with me, I'll share a little bit about my experience and approach. I have engaged in healing conversations with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds for over 10 years. Empathy and authenticity are the foundation of my therapeutic approach; I work diligently to offer my patients a warm and welcoming atmosphere and therapeutic experience. I recognize that every individual is wonderfully unique and therefore, I integrate a multicultural lens on a variety of clinical interventions to meet each patient's needs. I often use Narrative Therapy to collaboratively explore the stories you tell about yourself and your life. We look at how these stories have been shaped by your experiences, relationships, and the world around you. Then, we work to rewrite these stories in a way that empowers you, highlighting your strengths and possibilities for the future. I strongly believes in my patients' inherent strengths, and approaches therapy with the hopes that you will also see you resources and resiliencies and ultimately reach the goals you have set for yourself. This approach helps you to see yourself and your life in new ways, allowing for more positive and fulfilling experiences.
