I am Dr. Jeff Sammis, a licensed psychologist specializing in family therapy, couples therapy, and individual therapy that addresses family concerns. I have worked with families and individuals for over 20 years to help reduce conflicts, improve emotional connectiveness, overcome trauma, and find happiness. I work with families through a system orientation lens which focuses on improving communication, understanding what causes families to be stuck in repetitive and unhealthy interactions, and resolving conflicts. I work with Couples through an emotional processing orientation which focuses on processing and expressing feelings toward your partner in a more healthy and positive way and improving connectiveness and building resilience. I work with Individuals through a psychodynamic orientation to help grieve losses and gain emotional insight, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy to help gain skills in choosing different options of being that will lead to improved happiness.
