Dr. Jenny Desaulniers
Introduction
Dr Jenny Desaulniers, PsyD is a licensed clinical psychologist who is passionate about supporting children, parents, and women. She has extensive experience working in a wide-range of settings, including private practice, community mental health centers, and schools. In her child-centered work, she will work with your child and you, separately and together, with the goal of creating a safe space to express emotions, building greater understanding and connection, and having effective strategies for navigating your parent-child relationship so your child can thrive. Dr Jenny also loves supporting women as they navigate matrescence, the developmental period of identity transition from woman to mother and beyond. During the pandemic, she co-founded a maternal wellness brand, Jenny + Evie, that put postpartum hospital staples directly into moms’ hospital bags. She also co-hosted a brief, yet vibrant, podcast discussing maternal wellness with practitioners focused on women’s health issues. Dr Jenny has a warm, curious, and creative approach that has been highly successful for her clients.
