Introduction

Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, currently practicing in New York City. I specialize in working with trauma and other stress disorders (e.g., depression, anxiety), particularly Intergenerational, developmental, chronic, racialized, complex, or relational trauma, as well as with those who experience marginalization or systemic oppression. In addition, I often work with those who identify as Highly Sensitive People, and those committed to, or just starting, their anti-racism and anti-oppression journey. In addition to my clinical training, I am a mindfulness and movement facilitator, recognizing the vital nature of involving our bodies in healing, as well as a sound, Reiki, and yoga practitioner. I am committed to ongoing practices of liberation and joy, and readily incorporate this into sessions. Outside of my practice, I am the Director of Youth Services for The Lionheart Foundation, a non-profit focused on empowering systems-involved, trauma-impacted populations through transformative social-emotional curricula. I have significant experience bringing trauma-informed care into the criminal justice, child welfare, and forensic systems, and am passionate about reform in this area. I aim to offer a safe space in which deep healing can occur. I am highly engaging, empathic, sensitive, and creative in sessions, and welcome your unique interests. I view therapy first and foremost as a way to reconnect and be curious about ourselves; to find a place of safety, connectedness, and support from which we can begin to explore who we are, how we came to be, and where we want to go. As sessions progress, I aim to help you find resilience, movement, ease, stillness, or liberation, wherever you may need it.
