Maybe I'm your therapist...or maybe not. A successful journey in therapy depends on how well you fit with your therapist, whether it's comfort-level, personality, or their skill set/area of expertise. I will support you in making this a priority in this search, whether you choose me or someone else. I am also committed to providing a strengths-based approach, considering the many aspects of your life that impact you, and making sure that we collaborate in this process; after all, you are the expert on your life. In the 24 years I have been in this profession, I have been guided by the view that being selected to be a person's therapist is an honor and a privilege. As such, I commit to providing you with experienced, ethical, and evidence-based care throughout the length of your work with me. My areas of expertise include grief and loss, older adults, cancer/illness, life transitions (relationships, parenthood, career, etc.), young adult/college-age issues, and anxiety and depression.
