Dr. Laryssa M. Creswell believes that women & teen (13+) girls thrive on relationships, whether good or not so good. She creates a warm environment for women & teen girls to explore themselves and their relationships to become their best self. Dr. Creswell also believes developing your strengths in a collaborative manner will foster a safe space to move through your experiences in a thoughtful, nurturing way at your pace. Dr. Creswell earned her master’s degree in music therapy from Loyola University New Orleans and a Doctor of Education in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University/Washington DC. She is a licensed clinical professional counselor in Maryland, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia, a Board-Certified Music Therapist and a Licensed Professional Music Therapist in Maryland. Dr. Creswell is a Maryland Board Approved Supervisor and maintains the Approved Clinical Supervisor credential. She provides supervision for interns, pre-licensed and licensed clinicians. She also serves as an adjunct professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology at the Washington DC Campus. Dr. Creswell has a wealth of knowledge in trauma, substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, individual and group therapy. Dr. Creswell adores quiet days with her husband and two children. She loves sitting with her headphones on with her favorite music on blast and reading a good book.
